MEET THE WOMAN THAT CREATED A NEW STANDARD FOR TEXTURE, COLOUR & EXTENSION MATCHING.
At just 23 years old, I have dedicated almost 7 years in the hair industry, beginning my career at just 16 years old through a professional hairdressing apprenticeship before taking the leap into entrepreneurship at 22.
What began as a passion has grown into The Stylist Method - a brand built around expertise, quality and a more considered approach to hair extensions.
My journey into sourcing hair began from a very personal place. I was looking for extensions for myself. At the time I had blonde, tightly curled hair, and I quickly realised just how limited the market was for extensions that genuinely matched my needs. I struggled to find high quality hair that was available in the right texture, the right shade and, most importantly, that actually arrived as it had represented. Too often, the choice was between sacrificing colour, the quality or the texture. I saw a clear gap in the market for extension hair that could offer all three without compromising.
That experience led me to begin researching suppliers in 2023. Over the following two years, I extensively trailed hair from multiple suppliers, carefully assessing texture, quality, hair origins, colour and how the hair performed in real world use.
Through this process, I developed a much deeper understanding of what makes exceptional extension hair and the importance of accurate texture and colour matching.
Over the past year, The Stylist Method has grown beyond anything I could have imagined, and today I work across two salons in Manchester: Nolia Hair & Beauty Salon in Ancoats and Studio One 6 Four in Stretford.
At The Stylist Method, we supply, install and educate, offering a diverse selection of
collections designed to suit different textures, preferences, budgets and desired results. From carefully selected extension hair to bespoke colour and professional installation, every service is centred around the same standard, high quality hair, safe installation techniques and a truly luxurious client experience.
Alongside our extensions collections, we offer a complete range of installation and styling services, including K-Tips, Tales, Genius Weft, Nanos, Sew ins and bespoke styling. Our approach is centred around individual suitability rather than a one method fits all approach. We offer multiple methods because every clients hair, lifestyle, desired result and maintenance routine is different, our aim is to find the method that works for you, rather than turn you away or force you into a service that isn't suitable.
Every client that books a transformation service through us receives a thorough texture and colour matching consultation, allowing us to assess you natural hair, desired finish and requirements before selecting the most suitable extension hair and method for you. We also specialise in versatile curly extensions, designed to be worn naturally curly or heat styled into a different finish, with the ability to wash and revert back to the original curl pattern. For clients who love the convenience of a consistently styled finish, we offer bespoke weekly and fortnightly blow dry and wash and go memberships, specifically designed around the needs of extension clients.
Beyond our salon services, education is a core part of The Stylist Method, with further professional courses and educational opportunities launching throughout 2027.
